Really nice review. I'm off vampires at the moment, since every second book seems to have vampires, but I'll surely try this ASAP.

I had already downloaded this book before reading this review as it interested me straight away. This review has only heightened that interest and now I can't wait to read it. Thanks for such a brilliant review!

I absolutely love the concept of this book! The amount of power that Sylvio has is outstanding. Thank you for a great review!

I enjoyed the fact that the author puts her own spin on vampires.

Great review! I am a big lover of all things paranormal and this book sounds like a real must read with a unique spin on vampires, and demons, witches, and werewolves. I like the fact that you said if you read this sequel without reading the first book you don't feel like you are missing out. I too am not a fan of not starting a series at the beginning so I'm going to read the first book before I read this one. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm glad to hear there is something unique about this author's take on vampires - the genre has really become overwhelming! It sounds like this one is at least an enjoyable and well-written read either way. Interesting review, thanks!

This isn't my typical book, but your review is intriguing. Very strange to agree to be vampire food just so you can live longer, but I suppose that appeals to many.

I was a bit scared that vampires in this book would be the "sparkling" type, but I'm glad to hear the author is original, especially with the idea of being able to walk at daylight if they are "good". Thank you for the review!

It's so good to know that it's not necessary to read the first book in order to understand what this one is about. I love the premise of this story too. It's unique and fun and I love the mystical cover. Great review!
