Re: Line in a music which moved or touched you
I wish that I could have a bit of time
to heal the ache that's growing stronger
all the time.
But I know time stops for nobody,
let alone me,
and so I go inevitably.

No matter the hurt, no matter the bruises
No matter the scars or how big the wound is
It's the cross that makes you flawless."
This song has helped me tremendously to work though my daughter's bought with depression and suicidal tendencies along with self harm. It helped me see that no matter what we can still be seen as beautiful no matter what we did. That we can get through anything and there is still love out there after the pain.

She's imperfect but she tries
She is good but she lies
She is hard on herself
She is broken and won't ask for help
She is messy but she's kind
She is lonely most of the time
She is all of this mixed up
And baked in a beautiful pie
She is gone but she used to be mine

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, school kids can be so dumb and insensitive.masterhawk88 wrote: ↑02 Jul 2017, 03:22 "Gonna stand my ground, and I won't back down" Because of my disability (which causes me to walk on the balls of my feet because my legs tendons are to short) I was picked on a lot in school. After hearing this song I realized I could stand and fight or live in fear of my abusers. That's my mantra to this day.

In my defense (defence), what is there to say
All the mistakes we made, must be faced today
It's not easy now, knowing where to start
While the world we love, tears itself apart..
The song has always been my all time favourite.
