Raven's Peak is suspense by Lincoln Cole. You can't stop reading it. It's really an interesting story. Lincoln Cole is an award winner and Raven's Peak is the first book in his World on Fire series. He has won multiple literary awards for his novels. He has also reached the top #50 rank for all books in the Kindle store on Amazon and bestseller in many different categories.
It's a story about the conflict between human beings and demons, not between angels and demons. The Ninth Circle is "an organization mostly comprised of psychopaths and demon worshipers but a fewer members are lesser demons living in human bodies and corpses". The Council of Chaldea faces the demons all over the world. "It's a multi-religious and multi-national organization dedicated to protecting the world from the supernatural."
Haatim is the son of one of the leaders of the Council but he didn't know anything about the Council. Suddenly, he found himself involved in this bloody world.
Abigail is emotionally related to Arthur who deals with her as her father. Arthur sacrifices himself to rescue her. Though Abigail is very emotional, she deals with the demons without any mercy.
The world you read about in the story is a world that you don’t know. You feel like Haatim that you are involved in a very strange world but the story is symbolic. You find many symbols and ideas. The story is suspense but it pushes you to think deeply.
The thing that I like most about the story is that the writer is very creative and professional at the same time. You are always surprised by the events but if you re-read the story, you will find that every thing is in its right place.
I like the fact that the language is very inspiring. When you read the story, you can see the scenes, the characters and the events. You can feel the inner feelings of the characters. The story can be converted into a film easily and I think that it will be a very successful film.
The style of the writer is very eloquent and the language is impressive. I like the writer's deep themes such as the conflict between good and evil, the presence of the God and appearance and reality. The book is professionally edited. I didn’t find any grammatical or spelling mistakes. This means that the grammatical and spelling mistakes are too few to be discovered.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars

I love your review, it is quite comprehensive and gives the reader a general feel of the author and the story as well. If I hadn't read the book I would definitely want to read it now.

ReadingRebecca wrote:This is the second review I've read on Ravens Peak and I keep coming across the existence of God in the book, which is intriguing. I'm still on the fence about this one, though. Is there anyone who has more info or a link to their own review on Raven's Peak? Thanks for your help.
