I love Celtic mythology! And I agree about the use of "hooligans" and "shenanigans".
Thank you for the review.

Well, Simone...you certainly hit a lot of high points in your review for any readers who enjoy fantasy! You highlighted how the book incorporates so many exciting elements of that genre. Well done!

A book about Celtic, Romans, Druids and a variety of fantastical creatures, sounds pretty good! Thank you for a nice review.

Thanks for the enlightening review. The sample pages swept me to places unknown and to a generation of complications. Apollo's Raven is my cup of tea since it is an epic Celtic tale of love, magic, adventure, intrigue, and betrayal in Ancient Rome and Britannia.

This is an interesting epic fantasy novel with romance mixed in. The story touches on Catrin who is able to connect with the ravens but struggles to understand this unnatural connection. She is torn between loyalty to her family, her forbidden love for Marcellus, her disturbing gift, and if she will be able to break an ancient curse placed on her family. The book though had some few errors but which didn't affect a big part of it's quality. It's congrats for the BOTD review.

Thanks for the review. Thanks for the warning about the sex scenes and blood content. Sometimes people may be bothered by that so it is always good to state it in case they don't get that from the book blurb. A lot of fantasy is not expected to have much sex scenes so it may come as a surprise to them. Although the blood may be expected in some ways, it is always good to prepare in case a younger person is reading it.

A tale about mystery is quite intriguing. I wonder if Catrin can break the spell cast upon her and her family. Great review!

You shine a favorable light on the book, although I couldn't quite get into it while reading the free sample. Maybe I will give it another try! I find mythology to be very intriguing, and the idea of shape shifting is a new interest for me. Thank you for your review!

Today's #BOTD sounds good! Your review was well-written and very helpful...thank you! It sounds like it's one that contains a lot of symbolism, too. I love anything dealing with mythology, so I'm going to grab this one right now! Thank you, again!
