Very good review of a very engaging book! I have an open mind with regards to reincarnation. This is Buddhist thinking. But the book is more like historical fiction and it intrigued me that soldiers are wont to confiscate important items such as the bells of St Michael's Church. Because of this i will purchase and read this book.

What s splendid review by Hsimone! I never believe in reincarnation because nobody is born twice. But I love reading stories about reincarnation because they seem real. Reading the review, I admit I was swept away by how hsimone dscribed the story and the characters. The bonus is the historical accounts that happened in the United States. Stories of love in the midst of tragedies and hopelessness break my heart and based on the review, I feel like I want to break my heart sometimes. I love the book and I love the review.

This sounds like a very cool story and it sort of reminds me of Nicholas Sparks novels via the looking back into the past. I love that there is time traveling to the Civil War and the Great Fire of 1871. The best thing that I enjoyed about your review is how seamless the author travels from one time period to another or from one character to another.

I was a little hesitant to read a book including reincarnation but after reading the sample on Amazon I went ahead and downloaded it. After reading this great review and other members comments I am really glad that I'm going to have it to read.
