Mayhem, murder, mystery and secret agencies? Sounds intriguing! It is nice that the author doesn't bore the reader with technical jargon. Too bad about the abrupt cliffhanger, though. Thank you for the review!

Max is framed for something he did not do. But how does one prove his innocence if you can not trust anyone? This is really intriguing. Hopefully, this novel will answer my question. Thank you for your review!

Sounds like a good book. Too bad about the ending, but I guess I'll just have to make do. Thanks for the review.

The expansion is a kind of book I describe as no so much interest. Well maybe it doesn't tally with my likings

Wow I've never heard about the idea of linking the Atlantic and Pacific oceans... it sure sounds interesting! Maybe the fact that the book ended in a cliffhanger means there will be some sort of sequel. Great job on the review!

The book sounds like those stories that make one ask, 'Are people this MEAN?' Some people are tough actors in the school of mischief, all for personal gain. Great story.

Great review! I love books that make you question reality anf blurs lines so well, you wonder if it hasnt already or may happen.. but i as well don't like cliff hangers. However i think ill try it nonetheless... if it's as good as you say, i think it'll be worth it.
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be...

I wish there had been a wee bit more "jargon" regarding the expansion in the middle of the novel. I thought 1.5-2 years seemed like a lot of time to have no mention of how the project was going. Still a good book though.
