"It must be love, love, love...nothing less, nothing more, love is the best!" This song just popped up into my head when I read this question. I would pick love any day. In fact I wouldn't mind being a stay-at-home wife and mom, tending to my home, looking after my husband and children and writing reviews on this awesome site! That would be a charmed life! Perhaps I feel this way because I was raised by I stay-at-home mom and I just adore my mom.

There is wisdom in waiting until the right time for you. Good choice.

Maybe your dream will come true. :) I, too, had a stay-at-home mom, and I learned a lot of housekeeping skills from her.

Thank you Rebecca, I'm very domesticated too as a result of my mom.

If my life ever comes to such a point where I'll have to choose between love and career, that would be toughest decision of my life. But I guess that depends upon your sincerity to your love and your career. And if you are sincere to both then you'll find a way between to save both. But If I would have been in place of the main character, I would have never risked my love life

I would choose career first, if one truely loves you, he or she can wait.

I'd choose career. I believe that when the person is really for you your paths will cross again in the future, but a career opportunity usually only comes once in a life time.

For me right now I will choose career because I need to support my aged Mom. She is my top priority as of this moment since my Father died many years ago. She has a lot of medications to take due to her sickness. It is important that I do well in my job and makes her my inspiration. I know that love can wait and I know that my special someone can understand the situation. If there's no further endeavor I would choose love. But sometimes you need to make a decision base on priorities.
Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward.

I think either side, love or career are both good things that a human being needs to be fulfilled! Regardless, any side that you fill you have to take at that point in time should be something you try not to regret. As for me, I don't think it's something you have to forfeit for the other, and I hope I never be put in that position.

A successful man or woman is one that is able to manage and carry both career and love along or together. One in the expense of the other is a failure, but achieving both is a great success. I need the two and I'm managing and carry the two along.

This a very interesting topic. I will choose career. What about if love breaks down along the way? What about if death lays it icy hands on my partner? What about if I am not able to survive the financial difficulty? Choose your career and live.

I choose love. Careers are overrated for me... whats the point of money and everything else, if you habe no one to share it with?
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be...

I would choose love of course! Because there is no true career especially if you are an employee. A career is like pissing in the wind, it evaporates quicker than you can think of.
