Short E-books greater than or less than long E-Books

I recently began reading E-books and what brought me to them were short stories which are about 50-150 pages. I recently purchased an E-Book that is 350 pages (although pretty short), but I am a bit overwhelmed reading a book with so many pages on my e-reader. I am not sure if it just me, or is it harder to read a numerous amount of pages via a screen than on paper.

For me there is no difference between the two, as long as the book is good.

I myself like the longer books. But I read the short books as well. If the story is great, length doesn't matter.

I love reading books on my Kindle whether long or short stories. I have come to realize that having a selection over 500 books at any given time loaded onto my Kindle versus having to carry physical books, especially when traveling, is a nuisance. I read a 789 page book on my Kindle and I enjoyed taken notes as I read the story.

I love reading longer books and always check the length of the book before I buy it. If it is shorter than 170 pages I won't normally buy it...don't really know why. Guess it's because I have read a few shorter ones and it kind of felt rushed and incomplete.

That depends. One of the reasons why I gave up on those This Year I'll Read X Number of Books resolutions is because I tended to avoid longer books because I was scared of not making that number. Now that I've "let myself go" I don't really care that much about length, though I slightly prefer a long book, or a series, because it would last longer and I wouldn't have to rack my brain about what to read next so soon.

It is harder to read a long e book. The reason is because it just feels like there is no end. If you have a physical book in your hand, you can quickly figure out how much you have left. With an e book, sure there's a option where you can see how many pages are left but it still just seems to take forever! I prefer short e books that are 280 pages or less.

Short stories that are free on Kindle are the best things ever invented. My favorite short story is Fawn by Nash Summers. It's a free ebook following an LGBT+ couple from their childhoods to their adult lives, and it is an amazing book.

The question here is which do you prefer, a short EBook or a long EBook?
I ask the questioner - How do you eat an elephant? In small pieces of course. So it doesn't matter whether the EBook is short or long, as long as I get to read 2-3 hours a day.

For me there's only a difference based on book, a short book can look extra long if the story is not to your liking and some 500 pages book can look like a blink if you are loving it. I have lost track of time once on a really long book and spent the whole night awake reading it.
But I have to say, I do avoid short books for an entire different reason than most. I hate books that are too short and good, it makes me feel like I want to read so much more and...nope, that's it, THE END.

Reading longer or shorter isn't my main issue when I pick an e-book. I don't care on the length as long as it is a worthwhile read. I am willing to give it a shot.
