My best friend committed suicide just over three months ago. The pain he went through in life led him to make that choice, I am nobody to judge if it is right or wrong, it depends on how much that person is going through and if they can find no other way out.

Suicide, for me, is resorted to by a desperate mind. I believe in life beyond so I pray that suicides have a better lot in the hereafter.

I do know someone personally who died by suicide. Also several years ago I worked as a suicide prevention counselor so I am quite familiar with the subject. There are sitiations when a person may not feel they have any options left besides death and in many cases they are wrong but not always.

When I was younger I attempted six times and never succeeded which at the time I hated it.
Once I got a little older my best friend the girl I was in love with killed herself while I was on the phone with her after that I never debated it again I could never try again. I still love her and I think about her every day even though I'm married to a wonderful man and have a beautiful daughter.

I have two batchmates who committed suicide because of corruption. We can not just judge or blame those who commit suicide because this has something to do with hormone imbalance but we can help these people who have suicidal tendencies a lot.

Blanket statements like "Suicide is never the answer" sometimes don't understand the true complexity of the decision. In cases like euthanasia, I would say that it is probably justified. However, efforts must certainly be taken to help people by providing them other avenues and ways to feel better.
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.

I know quite few people around who ended their lives with suicide and I must agree that that was the only way.
It is everybody's individual choice whether to commit suicide or not. We have no right to judge them cause we never walked in their shoes.

To my mind, there's nothing wrong about suicide. Death is not the end and there's nothing terrifying about it when you are able to see beyond this life and dimension.

I have lost both family and friends to suicide. I do not think it is anyone's place to judge if it is right or wrong. We say it is selfish because loved ones are left behind to grieve and, at times, blame themselves. People who commit suicide are not in the head space to think logically or rationalise what is right or wrong. They are in a dark place and can only see one way out. That is all they can focus on.

Suicide for me is a coward's way of scape goating their current situation. Life is always hard, never easy, and therefore it takes a lot of courage to stick it out to the end. Suicide simply says you are throwing in the towel, and is a selfish act in all means. But i guess, as much as it may seem selfish, it's that person's life to decide. I know though that if confronted with the chance to dissuade someone from it, i'd exhaust all options to get them to change their mind.
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be...

I don't know anyone who committed suicide, but I can understand why someone who feels trapped, utterly alone and without any hope would do it. It's probably selfish in some way, but I wouldn't blame a person who finally had enough and wanted a guaranteed way out of their problems. It doesn't solve the problems, but I think if you reached a point where every problem is unsolvable and life is a neverending mess, suicide seems to be the only answer.

I don't think suicide is the answer, but I could understand if someone took their life because of a terrible disease. You never know what is around the corner. Something good could happen if you just hang in there.

I haven't met any person who has tried to commit suicide. And I do not think ending your life is going to bring any solution to the current problems. Actually, I think a suicide makes things worse. The family of the deceased has to pay for all the funeral expenses and live with the grieve of losing a loving one. That must be devastating!

I do know a number of people who have committed suicide. Quite many than I should. I learned from a young age life and death cannot be so easily defined.

I would never refer to a suicide victim as a coward or even selfish. It is not an easy decision to make. Put yourself on their shoes, they are scared, confused, desperate, am sure they pray very deeply. They think about there loved ones or lack off.
I'd not wish this for anyone.

Suicide is never an answer to any problem because answers are obtained from difficulties. The people who commit suicide do not want to face difficulties since they are coward. I know many who did commit suicide.
