Absolutely. Reading stories about places I have never been and never heard of introduces them to me. It presents their people, culture and anything that it can offer. Eventually, it will be added to one's list of the places to visit.

I enjoy reading about places i have never been because somehow it makes me feel I am already there, especially if the author takes their time to paint a vivid picture, just like in the novel.

Books let us imagine possibilities and the potential for us to go to those places. They are invaluable in that regard!

Yes, I love to read books about places i have never visited. This helps me prepare against my visit to those places. Such books also make me feel like I have been there before, so if I don't eventually go to such places, I don't feel like I miss visiting there.

Yes and No. Yes because it satisfies ones curiosity. No because you may loose interest of the place.

Yes yes I do, it makes me not only informed but gives an amazing opportunity to be a paper tourist by meditating on the information. It equals you to an actual visitor minus sound, smell and feeling only. Its also cheaper !

I love reading about places I've never been- whether those places exist or not. Since the internet became such a big part of our lives, the world has been getting increasingly smaller, and the curiosity for seeing places that we've never been to increases as we long to see them through the eyes of other people. I've never been to New York, but I love reading about it. I've never been to Middle Earth, but that's a place I'm willing to visit (just let me dream, okay?)

I like to read about places I have never been or probably will never see. I love authors that have the gift of describing a place so detailed that you finish reading feeling as though you have actually been there.

Yes especially of places so unique and far that I may never go to like the everest or polar lands. Great sky scrapper cities like New York and Hong Kong.

Definitely, reading about places you have never been not only increases your knowledge but also makes you more open minded. You learn to respect other cultures. Moreover, it even acts as a getaway from your reality and takes you in other world only.
