As we move on with our lives, we encounter situations that leave us asking on the genuineness of our decisions or haunt us in the future in the event we do not deal with them exhaustively. This is evidenced in this book written by co-authors who happen also to be siblings; R.I. Alyaseer and A.I. Alyaseer. At the end of the day, it is our attitude that matters when dealing with the situations in our lives.

The book presents three scenarios in that have relevance in our daily lives depending on which stage you are in life, single or married. We get to see a variety of people who have encountered difficult situations in their relationships and how they have dealt with them. All of them have had eight years either struggling, being haunted or free. In all their difficulties, they are all soothed by Adele's songs and are all looking forward to attend her coming concert for her 25th album. Our first set of people are Elias and Malika. Once they were in a relationship but discontinued it as Malika was too young for Elias. The guilt of being a pedophile breaks Malika's relationship with Elias. Elias is engaged at work thus has to strike balance between his work and the haunting thought of leaving Malika.

In our second phase we meet Yaser and his wife Mariam. Both have a seemingly wonderful relationship in marriage through social media like Facebook but in real sense their marriage is crumbling. Their combination in marriage seems to be the cause of their struggle in marriage as Yaser is an atheist pretending to be religious to his wife, while Mariam is firm in her Muslim religion. The intervention of Dr Brown helps salvage their crumbling marriage.

Lastly we meet Nadia, a distinguished character by virtue of being firm and courageous in defending her rights and those of her son Waleed. Nadia has broken off from the bondage of a miserable marriage and is now struggling to maintain her freedom as a single mother. It is not easy for her especially seeing the father to her son has legal rights over their son, but Nadia is determined to fight to the end for her son's rights even if it means loosing family ties with her uncles.

The content in the book is very sensible and interesting especially seeing how the characters deal with their difficulties. It is very clear that we should deal with our situations in a way that results to justice, freedom and peace. We should concentrate more on the causes of our problems rather than what the outside world has to say about our problems. At the end of it all we have to deal with our issues personally.

Though I have never been to Amman, Jordan, Las Vegas, USA, Rome, Italy, the book has given me a trip to these regions through its content that gives so much exposure. For those wanting to enter the institution of marriage, or want to go beyond religion in getting married or marrying, the book is absolutely suitable.

I have liked the rich vocabulary in the book like ''paradox'', in chapter 17, the build up of stories from one chapter to the other and the use of different sets of characters, as a way of avoiding boredom. Therefore, for those three reasons among others, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. Please read to ascertain these facts.
