I enjoyed the first few pages of this. However, I feel it may turn into Godfather goes to Japan. I have no real interest in this kind of story but it was well written and believe folks will enjoy this book.

The book cover is very captivating, but i still kind of have reservations. Will check it out though. I am not sure i like the fact that it has too many characters. Very few authors are able to pull that off.

This one sounds like a great read. I love the foundation of a modern day treasure hunt. I'm not sure I've seen that before in a novel. And set in Japan adds to the mystery, as that is not a typical location for novel settings. The whole story-line appeals to me so this is definitely going on my "want to read" list.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

Thanks for the great review. I was interested in this book after reading the sample, and it seems like there's so much more to the story than I thought there was. I definitely want to read this one. I was intrigued that it takes place in Japan, too.

Great review. Adventure stories are always full of suspense, fear and anxiety of what will happen next, especially to ones favourite character or characters. This treasure hunt story is very capturing, I love reading such story, but do love it more if it is put in movie.

Ooh, I think I´d love this book. I´ve always been obsessed with stories about ´treasure hunts´ and such and used to create small treasure hunts in my garden with my sister. Great review!

Based on the sample, i thought this was about mafia stuff. But in your review it talks a little bit about a treasure hunt and relationships. Thank you for your review. There were some review points you made that i could use in my own reviews.
