Great review. It sounds like an interesting mix of the four characters you mentioned. It doesn't seem like it was difficult for you to keep up with the storyline at all which is something I like in regards to multiple sub plots and characters. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the review. It is great when an author is able to connect things in a way so it is not confusing. Sometimes it seems there is so much going on that it all gets messed up in my head when reading. I am glad that you found it worthy of 4 stars!

When I first saw the cover of the book I thought it was a romance. The review made me believe differently though. It sounds like an interesting read.

Though violence and adult plots are not within my interests, I still am convinced to read this because of the Japanese culture and traditions and the philosophical discussions in some of the pages. This is definitely an exciting read. Rachel, Chase, Kenji, and Mariko are characters worth following.

I think Buried Threads has a great cover. It looks sensual, mysterious, and engaging. The plot sounds interesting as well because it involves treasure hunting, romance, and a possible catastrophe. However, I read the sample pages and concluded this story is not for me. I am sure many others will enjoyed it.

Certainly not the usual story line. I like the Japanese side of this novel. Thanks for the review

I don't usually like to start with the second in a series, but glad to hear this one works as a standalone. The exotic setting and thrilling premise sound interesting! I also like that there are so many different characters explored in the novel.

My friend's daughter recently moved to Japan...she loves it there! I, too, enjoy learning about other cultures! That alone is interesting enough to pull me in! Thank you so much for your helpful review!

I'm not a fan of mature content, but overall this one seems like a pretty good book. I'd like to know about cultures of different countries, like Japan. Congrats on the review.

An exotic location, a couple with relationship issues and a hidden treasure all happening within one suspense novel? It sounds like a must read novel to me! Thank you for the very detailed review. I look forward to adding this book to my reading list.

It is indeed a good book to read. Its content and the setting of the story, of course the characters, they fit in. It catches my interest to read more and more
