Treasure hunting is dicey territory. It can be cool in an Indiana Jones kind of way or interesting because of the history and culture, but in real life, treasure hunting has done a lot of harm and exploited a lot of people and cultures.

A treasure hunt linked to a prophecy, a complicated love triangle and revenge all in one plot sounds like a must read page turner. Great review of a seemingly great book.

Buried Threads by Kaylin Mcfarren is intense to the very end. A remarkable tale of Rachel and chase and their treasure recovery business. They have found a new mark in japan. Three ancient swords buried with a prince and his right hand. The original grave robber is there guide. If that's not enough the monk that hired them is mixed up with the yakuza. Traps hidden in the walls, traitors all around, will they see their job till its end or meet their own? Is this job too much for rachel and chase? Will their relationship make it through to the end of this perilous job or will rachel walk away forever?
I couldn't stop reading this harrowing tale of discovery and romance. Life and death. With so much going on i was thoroughly impressed with the accurate details of this book. All the beauty was written so it floated into my mind with ease. The pace is quick and you're left wanting more. This is a great book to read when you need a bit of distraction. It will suck you into the world of japan's under belly and the beauty of the land of the east. Shipwrecks and underwater caves, which near death experience will be your favorite characters last. Read this wonderful book to find out.

I would like to read those spoilers which have incredibly exited the reviewer.

The book seems to have been dramatically written, and I think it is worth reading.

Thanks for a good review !

This review kept me at the edge of my seat till the very end. It has sparked my interest in the book especially since it was given a 4 out of 4 despite having some minor mistakes.

An interesting book to read. With the unique mixture of adventure and romance, will surely be sought after. It has unique characters. The author described very well their roles as it progresses. It sure feels exciting and can't wait to read the whole thing. Great review!

You make this sound like an interesting read. I enjoy books that let the reader experience other places and cultures. It appears there are a lot of dynamics between the characters too.
