This novel is a supernatural and action-packed thriller. In the prologue of this book we see a woman named Frieda Gotlieb visit Reverend Arthur who has being in prison for the last five years to ask for his assistance. The Reverend who is unwilling to help her changes his mind after he is told that his adopted daughter (Abigail) and a group of demon hunters were found dead. During his secret mission at a mountain top, he finds out that Abigail is not dead, rather she has being possessed by a demon. Arthur manages to save her, but the demon takes him to hell.

Abigail who is a demon hunter for the clandestine and mysterious council in charge of religious affairs of the world, is back on the street in search of a certain demon and her father as well. She saves a blogger (Haatim) who had been hired by the demon she was tracking to track her during one of her missions. She finds out that he has studies in theology and also discovered that he is related to one of the top members of the mysterious council she works for.

Together they both go on a fact finding mission which
Inevitable leads them to raven's peak, a small lonely town were a demon has taken over the minds of its inhabitants, there they have to battle it out with the demon and its Amy of brainwashed people. Will Abigail and Haatim save the town and find her father?

Reading this book was easy and delightful as well since I'm a fan of supernatural thrillers and I really enjoyed the dialogue, the cover picture also was one of the things that attracted me to the book. There were a few typos in the book, and I wish it didn't have a book 2 so that I could read everything at once.

We got to see they author bring up the issue of right vs wrong and saw how the characters handled it and also the issue of doubt and faith, understanding that tragedy causes one to have doubts and sometimes struggles awakens our faith. While reading this book, the only thought I had in mind was that Lincoln Cole should team up with the writers of the TV series “Supernaturals” he would be an exceptional addition to their team.

I genuinely believe lovers of supernatural and action thrillers would find this book entertaining and enjoyable. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because the author did an incredible job, we got to see a woman fight and defeat demons fearlessly and it was both believable and exciting.
