Grest review! Too bad about the grammar errors, personally too many in a book pops me out of the story and is very distracting and even takes away from the story because of that. That said though it does sound like a very interesting story. A historical fantasy set during WWII with characters who have supernatural abilities with a twilight-ish flavor. That's definitely something that I have yet to come across. I honestly don't read much historical fiction but I think that I will check this one out. Thanks so much for sharing.

This is a different take on the whole super-power idea. I may read it for the fun of it, although the lack of professional editing is sad.

It really sounds like a very exciting book. The grammatical errors i can deal with but the plot must be mesmerizing for me to take interest in it and by reading the review i must say the the book looks fantastic

You got me at Twilight! I love Twilight! Pity for the grammatical errors, hopefully they are not too bad.

Wow, a mix of specially-powered people with ability "to locate people by their heartbeats, to shape-shift, to see all sides of any issue, to know all things, and to make people see things that are not there." sounds exciting! I love when authors tie in accurate historical events within a fictional text - helps me learn as I read in a fun way! Too bad about the grammatical errors, but I'm glad that you enjoyed the read. I would be worried of the amount of characters here, but I'll give it a try and see! Thank you for the great review!

I like books that combine abilities and actual history fantasy. Thanks for a good review.

I did download the book for today's book of the day. I agree the book could use a major proof and edit.
I enjoyed the preview and plan to finish the book. Great review.

I don't recall that I have ever read historical sci-fi; it sounds marvellous. I'm anxious to continue reading more of this book.

Historical fiction mixed with a paranormal twist makes this look like a book I'll enjoy. I like the fact that the family has to keep their talents on the down low to avoid being used for nefarious means. Throwing in a kidnapped baby and I think we have a winner. Congrats on being BOTD and thanks for making it free.

I downloaded this book because the cover caught my eye. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the author's wry humor really drew me in.
