Did you find that the inclusion of cultural nuances helped you to understand the time period differently than before? I have a difficult time reading stories that change real people but I do like learning more about their culture.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

Yes I did, like I mentioned in the review, learning about the expectations that the people of the time had of the Messiah was interesting for me. I know the real story of Mary from the Bible well, so I didn't have a problem with sifting fact from fiction. Thank you for reading my review and commenting, I appreciate it.
