I have never seen a more honest review. The writeup really sounds difficult to follow. I sympathize with your struggle not to throw the book off the cliff. I don't see myself reading this book any time soon. Just to think how I was enticed by the title, cover and Amazon review. Thanks for the great review.

Nice review I really appreciate your thoroughness. The title really caught my attention. Though it's disappointing that the story falls flat as it does. Your rounding your rating up though gives me some hope and I'm going to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great review. I love a good mystery and add political corruption and I'm definitely interested. I can't wait to read this to see if Zoe can finish her father's plans and to see what happens to the mayor. Congrats on being BOTD and thanks for making this free.

I've just blasted through the first 2 chapters to get a taste for it & it was all looking quite promising- an interesting conflict with tension & unanswered questions. And then I read your review... Its refreshing to see such an open/frank appraisal but how can you give it 3 out of 4 stars when "the first pages had (you) hooked, but from there it went downhill"?

The title alone is scary and tells a lot about the content of the book already. But I'll give it a try and maybe, do a volunteer review as well. Thanks for the review.

Cup of Evil by E. Groat is a good thriller to dive into after a long day since it will dissolve all of your worries. Excellent review and I particularly respect the bluntness of it.

The title of this book, Cup of Evil, just on the face of it, comes across as one which will be saturated with murder, mayhem and all kinds of evil. But, from the review, these are depicted mildly. I like mild thrillers, dealing with hyper-adrenaline surge in a reading experience is not one of my favourite things. Very detailed review, though.

Thanks for the extensive review. It will be help to navigate while reading this novel. The title alone catches the eye, but sounds like it doesn't fulfill what is promised. Great job!

It's a shame it didn't live up to expectations as much. I was also surprised by the title. Thanks for the review

This book seems really interesting and funny, at least that's what i thought when i started reading your review but i got bored in the middle and i was even about to quit. While the story seems intriguing it seems to have lots of flaws, multiple irrelevant characters and confusing names among others. I like your review but i just don't think that i can read the book. Thank you for the amazing and honest review

It's too bad about how uninteresting the book got after a couple of pages. I think Ill pass on this book since it doesn't seem like my cup of tea. Great job on your thorough review!
