Thanks for the great review! I've already read this one and while I didn't enjoy it quite as much as you did, I still think it was a solid read!

Great review, sounds very interesting. I like native American stories, though I'm not so big on audio books. I would much rather read by myself.

I've stumbled across this book a few times, thinking I should read it. Today, I actually downloaded it so that I can! Having lived in the Pacific Northwest, I hope that I will be able to relate with the characters and get a better picture of the landscape in my head.

I think bringing adventure and legendary together in this book give the reader something to smile about. Fantastic review, I liked it.

Even though I find the themes of Native American mysticism and traditions to be interesting, I think the pace of this story is slow for my reading taste. Thanks for the good review!

Thanks for the great review. I'm glad to hear that he mixes science and legend when telling the story. I always appreciate a balanced approach in those cases.

The official review is short. It created suspenses that invite us to read the book. For instance, as a reader, if I'm told that when Tom reluctantly agreed to take Sarah hiking with him, he had no idea of the struggles that he and his compinions would face, I couldn't prevent from deciding to read such a book. To sum up, the book must be read.

Great review. This is a complex and intriguing story with mystery and family ties. Finding out you have a granddaughter just when you're going into the wilderness and then losing her then finding her 8 days later would be scary. Can't wait to read this. Congrats on being BOTD.

I really enjoyed this book too. I'm also a bit wary of audio books as so much depends on the narrator.

Eight days that seem months? Interesting! The Olympic National Park is full of secrets. I like the combination of science and legend that this book has. Too bad it has a sudden ending. Thanks for the review!
