First, the connection between an eye and Leah's message as captured in the cover page is not tenable. Another contradiction is found in Hale's attempt to navigate through religious terrain without deploying religious compass, for example, Leah is commissioned by divine encounter in the process of a life threatening condition, but does not engage a religious platform in pursuance of the vision. Perhaps he (Hale) is casting aspersion on twenty first century American church for contaminating the pew with secularism. A great review.

I read the excerpt at Amazon and the reviews and your review also. It tempted me to want to put the book on my TBR stack. Sounds like an interesting story. Thank you.

I enjoy books that challenge one's thinking. We take so much for granted that it is always interesting when we are forced to stop and contemplate things at a deeper level.

Thanks for the review. It is helpful to know the book is not just a vehicle to transmit one person's religious views. I have downloaded the book and intend to check it out.

While I don't really enjoy religious fiction, this sounds like an interesting look at how a simple message can get distorted by other people. Great review

You actually recommended this book to me. Looking for deep mean? Yes. Thank you so much for making me realise this is one of the books I have been looking for in this forum. Many people usually declare that they went into a trance and come back with messages from God, but I have never known it could be used so intelligently in a story like this one.

It's so unfortunate that philosophy, religion, and politics have to wrap ideas and information before they pass to the intended audience. It's an interesting narrative I must affirm, however, am also curious about the choice of the cover image. I find it unusual to just pick an eye, the left one. Nice review.

I will definitely love this story. The first few pages have already sent me to deep thought. Leah Wagner will give us a unique experience as we follow her story. Congrats to the author.
