This sounds like something I might try. I'd be interested in reading the other books, too, even if this one could be a standalone.

This book sounds very intriguing. I'm a fan of mystery and I like that there's some romance included. I think it's great that you mentioned that this book can be read as a stand alone novel also. Great review!

Thanks for the great review. This book sounds like it has a lot of romance and gripping drama. The characters also sound like they are likable and one wants them to have a happy ending. I'll consider putting it on my list of books to read.

I've only read the sample but I was struck by how well the author sets out her stall- the descriptions are vivid & meaningful, the mystery & suspense are evident immediately. Very impressive :)

Great review! This sounds like the sort of book I would love to read. Thrillers are some of my favorites. Your glowing review really has me antsy to read it. So thanks for that! I love that the ending is well-rounded but still has room for more to happen. That's how things should be in a series! Thanks for the review.

Another interesting review we have here. A couple hindered from fully expressing their desire for each other by strong external factors. Good review of a good book.
