This looks like a very good book, but as it is part three I would not read it. I would consider reading the first in the series though, but, is it really as good?

Nice, long review for a well-crafted book. The review makes the reader want to delve into this book or start the series of three. And from the first page, you are hooked.

It is good to know that this can be read independently of the first two in the series, and also that it is a smooth and compelling read.

Romance and mystery are two genres I love reading. A combination of both in one novel definitely gets my attention. Thanks for the great review.

Wow, Kaylin McFarren is on fire! Now, I'm absolutely walking on hot coals yearning to read her works! All three so far have received high ratings and I can't wait to delve into them. This is definitely joining my TBR list and I love that it's both a standalone and doesn't end on a cliffhanger even though it leaves you wanting more. Awesome review!

I have to say I don't like coming in later in the series, but it sounds like the author did a good job of setting the scene properly.

Not much of a fan of series...but this does sound like an exciting familial mystery. May have to take a look. Good review...thanks for sharing!
