Roadmap to the End of Days by Daniel Friedmann is a nonfiction book that is based on religion and history. In this book Friedmann tackles the Messianic Era or the end of the world as we know it by describing life as being in a maize trying to find a way to redemption.

Friedmann explains the Cosmic Purpose using the Torah, the Bible, a number of Jewish books and human history. He shows how creation days, biblical times and common time era corresponds, he also talks about historical events that could have been the conclusion of the Divine Plan. Friedmann calls these opportunities Critical Periods to the end of days.

He says that human existence on earth is to bring both humanity and the world back to the original state of spiritual sensitivity to create a dwelling place for the Divine Presence. Friedmann talks a lot about the seventh millennium which is the world to come after the end of days when the Divine Plan has been concluded were resurrection takes place and the world will be peaceful.

At first I thought he was talking about Jesus Christ when he was talking about the Messiah but as I went deeper into the book I realized I was wrong, Friedmann wrote about two Messiah's which are Messiah son of Joseph and Messiah son of David. Road map to the End of Days mainly refers to the Messiah son of David who will fulfill prophecies that weren't completed by the Messiah son of Joseph and this Messiah is not born yet, Messiah Ben David will be born after the Clarification Process.

Roadmap to the End of Days has appendix, tables and glossary to help people like me understand Jewish Oral laws, Jewish beliefs, the Torah and human history timeline. Friedmann has two other books before Roadmap to the End of Days but you don't have to read them to understand this book.

Even though I'm Christian I enjoyed reading Roadmap to the End of Days because it is thought-provoking and there were some similarities I related to like the creation of Adam and Eve, however the views Friedmann has about the forbidden fruit are totally different from my views and there are some things I don't agree with in the book.
.
I give Roadmap to the End of Days 4 out of 4 stars. I loved it, it's an excellent book. I recommend this book to every open minded person, this book is not only for Jewish people but for everyone who is curious about the future and the after life. It is intriguing, well researched and well written. It doesn't have a single dull moment.

I've read some other reviews of this book and they all (including yours) intrigued me. I am fascinated by the afterlife, so I'll probably read the book at some point.

This sounds like an insightful and thought provoking book. I'm sure that it was a powerful meaning to anyone with a strong interest in religion.

Great Review! ?

I admit i am a bit cynical about books that promise a roadmap for something that is abstract like the afterlife or the end of days. Your review explained this book very well. i admire your open-mindedness.

thank you for stopping by my review.
