Awesome review. This looks like a great book on a very important issue. Some children have to go through so much at home. Its not always that they are rude or unintelligent. How can someone learn when they are not safe and when they have nothing to eat?

Thanks for the review. The book talks on the processes that occur between a young child willing to read and as a teenager no longer willing to read.

Thank you for the review! I couldn't figure out what the book was really about from the Amazon blurb; I think the author really needs to expand on that in order to 'hook' more potential readers.

Thank you for your beautiful review. Because of it, I am definitely going to read this book. I also started the book and had a hard time putting it down. When I pick it up again, I will make sure I have time to read it all in one sitting, like you did.

Thank you for the interesting review. This definitely sounds like a book that many would enjoy reading and gaining some insight despite it being a fictional novel.

I've never read a book like this (because this is not the usual kind of books that I read), but by reading your review, it really encouraged me to do so.

Now, I'm excited to read this book :) Thank you so much for your review

As indicated, the book seems appropriate for teachers to better understand those students who are struggling. While I am not the target audience, I see how important it could be to others. Thanks for the review.

I like that the author included their own school children throughout the processes of writing this book. Important message and interesting perspective.

This book does seem to emphasize something I have long thought should be needed, i.e. a test to see whether or not people are fit to be parents before they are allowed to have any kids.

You are Right

Good review. The book offers interesting perspectives of the education sector. This is important as it's our children's preoccupation and new insights are obviously needed.

Great review. This sounds like an interesting book to read. I think I can relate some of what you mention reading in this book to some of the kids I went through school with when I was younger. I am curious to compare what this author has to share to those kids in my past. Thank you for sharing.

This book sounds incredibly tense but also incredibly important to help people understand the sorts of situations which push children away from an interest in education. As it is a shorter read, I might be able to squeeze it into my reading sooner rather than later. Thanks for the great review!

After reading through your review, the title of the book feels so much deeper than its face value. As someone who struggled as a kid in public school balancing my home life and a shaky education, your review and evaluation has swayed me to give this a shot.
I typically go for suspense and/or thriller fiction, but because it seems that this book may hit close to home for me, your review has inspired me to really look into this one!
Awesome review. :)
