Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorite books, and I'll read it every year or 18 months.
The Stand by Stephen King is another I've read a few times now.
I'll also re-read books about survival, such as Touching the Void and Into Thin Air.
I'll also read Hunter S. Thompson's Hell's Angels every once in a while.

No problem, i was thinking it was a snapshot of you in some tourist pose somewhere in Rome but i guess your exquisite statues will have to do then for nowGannon wrote:Yeh, I just happen to have an old Roman Helmet that I like to wear when I go shopping.StephenKingman wrote:Love the avatar, Gannon, is that you?!Gannon wrote:I think it would have to be "Gates of Fire" by Steven Pressfield. No its not me. Woh I just had a thought maybe whoever it is may object to me using his image. I actually have all these pics from a group of people who make all the old armour and weapons. I really love the helmet, but I think I might change it just to be on the safe side. Thanks SKM, I did not really think about it until your post, I just loved the helmet.
There we go.That will do until I can get my own.

Those are highy re-readable indeed. I'd go for something from my childhood. Jules Verne or something like that.Bighuey wrote:For me I would have to say H.P. Lovecraft, I never get tired of reading his stuff, a close second would be the Sherlock Holmes stories.

You sound like me. I read Verne's Journey to the Center Of the Earth and Off on a Comet when I was in high school and I would like to read them again. They are great re-reads.Rest_In_Pieces wrote:Those are highy re-readable indeed. I'd go for something from my childhood.
