Very interesting. I love how you have hinted at the characters and how the plot seems to build. The characters have caused me curiosity and I would love to learn the story.

Thanks for the nice review, it was really well written. I like paranormal thrillers. The author's writing career was inspired by Isaac Asimov and Stephen King, so I hope the book has enough twists and unexpected events to keep the reader in suspense till the end of the book. And according to the review the book does exactly that.

I read Raven's Peak to see if I liked the horror and thriller genres. I was not disappointed. I felt the suspense until the end of the book. I also enjoyed Lincoln Cole's writing style.

I responded to the newer Official Review of this book because a.)I didn't know it was specific and wouldn't give me my point in the giveaway, and b.)I loved the reference to Supernatural (TV series) it had in it. I've quoted the post here so I'm now in both places. I"m wondering if the little errors that this review noted have been fixed by the new review's posting? No note was made in it in the newer review...

This sounds like it's going to be a really good book to dive right into. I love the tip of the hat to Supernatural in the review. There is something bizarre about the cover though... I keep getting the image illusion of those old doctor masks with the long beaks and weird robes from 12 monkeys... Just me? ok... carry on... LOL

I'm currently doing a volunteer review of the book and I must agree that the prologue is indeed very gripping. But being very honest, I think the action and excitement considerably dies after that and doesn't recover much - and I'm already halfway through! I've yet to see what it has in store for me, though, once they get to Raven's Peak. Thanks for the critical, therefore very helpful, review.

Just to clarify -- there's action enough after the prologue and before they get to Raven's Peak, it's just that in my opinion it doesn't compare to how engaging the prologue was.

Excellent review...I read the book some time ago and also gave it 3 stars. For me, the biggest drawback was how long it took to get to Raven's Peak. As great as the "ride" was, it took too long and took away from [more] time that could have been spent there instead. Still, I'll be reading the next one, as well.

This is overall going to be a good series for the fantasy lovers. There were definitely errors in spelling and grammar but to little extent. I shall be waiting for the rest of the series

A good review you had there that intrigued the reader! Life is a mixture of ordinary or extraordinary, natural or supernatural, good or evil and so on. We just have to choose which is right and humane. Its a good work. I will love to read. :D
