This story is no my cup of tea because it is full of violence and sex. I still am amazed by how the author gave flesh and blood to the characters. I am disturbed by the character portrayed by Sofia.

Although not my type of book, this one looks to give us a redemptive quality to the lead character even though the things she does are horrid, which is interesting. Reminds me of a Steven king novel!

I'd always wanted the bad guys to be punished.
So, feeling bad for a serial killer is a very rare feeling for me, if not impossible. Doubt if I'll feel the same way as you but the thought alone excites me thus increasing my interest. Great review

I'm intrigued by this book that features a female murderer--a very uncommon story. Makes me wonder if in real life, women could be as ruthless and blood-thirsty as men. There could be an underlying secret and mystery that turned Sophia into a murderer. And this is where my interest to unravel this mystery comes in.

I love the review. It awakens the mystery-seeker in me. Congrats. And to the author for an awesome book.

I am always grateful when reviewers note that there is a lot of violence and sex in a book, as that tends to make the book a no go for me. With this book, even your description left me feeling a little nauseated! (So I think you captured the spirit of the book well! Makeup out of humans?! Ick.) But this is one I will have to avoid. Great review though!

I love your review. When a book is about a killer, I wonder how they will be portrayed and how descriptive the author will be. I am interested even more by the fact that you said you weren't sure if you felt bad for Sophia or not. I hope I enjoy it as much as your review says I will.

I love this genre, but I typically cannot find a truly enjoyable book within it to read. I guess that's why I stick to movies when it comes to horrors and thrillers. However, this book sounds particularly intriguing, and I've already added it to my want-to-read list. Your review paints a descriptive and captivating picture, and I'm looking forward to diving in. The subject is one I've not encountered in a book before, which just adds to the appeal even more. Thank you for the great review!

Bleh! LOL Kinda makes you wonder what's in the stuff you use every day, eh? I'd have to read the story to see if I'd get the same reaction of feeling sorry for the main character... that's a hard thing for an author to do... to make the reader feel sorry for a serial killer! Sounds like a good author! :)

A serial killer who uses the dead bodies in soap products? And now has a stalker? It's a bit odd, but I'm actually intrigued. Though there are some graphic scenes, I find the author's writing compelling and I love how the author makes you really think about if Sophia is a character to be sympathized or not. Thank you for the lovely review!
