Oy, what a great review and what a great sounding book! Usually I would not want to read this genre, but it is intriguing.

Your review makes this book sound really interesting, but I'm just not sure after reading the sample. It seems well written, but I'm not sure if I can get past drug deals being handled right in front of his daughter. Thanks so much for your insightful review!

Hmm... It seems pretty intriguing, both the story itself and that its written by the main char's view. Guess that'll be my next read

What a story and an eye opener to what the love of money can cause. The book exposes how powerful money can influence it takes great courage and discipline to be in control of money instead of the other way round.

It seems very intriguing. Dealing with a criminal and drugs provided this book with a unique concept. It has an interesting main character. Great review!

I think I like the book, particularly because it was written by one who himself dealt in drugs. The review is great. Thanks for your effort.

A good review giving insights to the criminal world and when incarcerated shows the will and driving force that can lead to positive or negative change.

This story and your description have quite a realistic feel. I have read a couple of Arabic novels that were based on drug addicts stories and this whole money vs relationship concept is quite real so that gives me a good vibe about this book. It is nice to see things from other's people's perspective.

On a side note, long ago, I saw you saying you were new here and now your reviews are official, now I can see why! your writing and analysis are great and it sounds really professional! Good job, keep it up :)

This definitely sounds like a story that has a lot going on. It's a shame about the slight slow place due to the affairs, but I'm glad that the pace picks up again and certain key relationships are delved into. Great and thorough review!

This book seems like an interesting look at the world of a drug dealer, something I know very little about. After just reading the sample I can see how you can get frustrated at what Rick puts his family through

Great read this must be. I wonder why Rick would still result to selling drugs after having being in prison twice already. I appreciate your review.

Wow.. I was amazed how Rick used his time in prison - planning ahead on how to make a bigger hit, making the right contacts and putting strategies in place. He wasn't whining and dwelling on miseries, he actually used his time of incarceration to plan for a "better" future.. I wish he didn't have to go that path again though, talk about planning to jump from frying pan into fire, my heart was in my mouth as I read through.. Definitely a good book
