While the portrayal of women is a turn off for me, I do normally enjoy high fantasy novels. This one still sounds promising.

The best fantasy is written in the language of dreams. It is alive as dreams are alive, more real than real ... for a moment at least ... that long magic moment before we wake. Therefore, Zarost have said: “If you see the dragon fly,
best you drink the flagon dry.”

I love fantasy novels and this sounds like a great story! It's too bad there are so many similar names because I'll definitely get confused with that, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the great review!

Sounds like an interesting fantasy novel. I'm not a great fan of dragon stories but from the review I would recommend the book to fans of the same.

Great review, I couldn't find anything I didn't like in this novel. The characters, plot and the dialogue fit perfectly.

Seems like a good fantasy novel full of good character development and an adventure to keep the eyes of the dragon away from people who want to use them for evil.
