Bishop's War seems to have a cocktail of my favourite stuff in a narrative: exciting diverse geographical settings, strong family relations and an interesting plot. However, because of the abundant graphic violence and gore in this story, I might not be in a hurry to read it. I think the review is impressive.

Mrs Tasana read this novel very carefully. I astonished when I read about grammatical errors. she paid attention these sides of novel. It is very surprising. her strictive mind is very sharp about characters of the novel.

Having read the description of the book, I was positive I was not going to want to read beyond a couple pages to check it out, but I was wrong. I am hoping I have time to go back and read on. Maybe it will get too graphic for me, but it seems worth venturing into the story. I was surprised to read in the review that this is a debut effort.

I read this book earlier this year and remember thoroughly enjoying it! I only gave it 3 out of 4 stars though... I wish I could remember why. If I recall correctly, I think it had to do with the predictability of the book as well as Bishop not being the most interesting of characters. Definitely worth a read though!

A decorated soldier hailing from a mob family? Terrorists coming for a mob family? A government official getting offended by a citizen and going after them...oh wait that actually sounds believable. The other things I find hard to understand how an author can make that story work, but according to this glowing review it's possible. Guess I'll have to give this book I try.

Based on your review, this sounds like an exciting thriller with an interesting premise that the family of the protagonists is part of a notorious mob. It sounds like a thriller that has taken time to develop the characters, something often missing in this genre.

Great action book, though the book is filled with 'actions', it will be very interesting for those who love action books and movies. Thanks for reviewing.

I'm not a typical girl that sees blood and faints, but reading about killing, terrorists, vendetta and mobs is not my thing. Anyways, thanks for the well written review! Congratulations to the author for getting the highest rating in his first try!

Politics and abundant graphic violence is not my taste in books so I will let this one pass
