Take My Hand

Post by Julez »

At the deepest end of despair
At the darkest end of the tunnel
At the worst moment of depression
At the darkest hour of the night
At the deepest end of the river
At the bottom of the deep pit
Seems like there is no way out
Then a voice says to me
Take my hand

Grab hold don't let go
I'm here for you
Going nowhere
I won't leave you
Even if you want me to
I'm with you all the way
Just look up and grab hold
Take my hand

I really love the poem.It has deeply touched my heart such that I feel people should put their trusts in the Sovereign Lord.

Encouraging piece! In a world of unending challenges and discouragements, this poem holds out a candle. Congrats, Julez, on your efforts on the poetic.

When I saw and read the title, it reminds me of the song 'I love you more than you'll ever know'. The song says, 'Take my hand, we'll walk awhile, we'll talk awhile. Feel my love always there beside you.' Simple words but there are so much meaning and emotions. Just like the poem you wrote.

Thanks Thrielle. I wrote it at a time when I was quite low.
