I like crime thrillers, but the numerous problems in this book make me question wanting to read it. I like that the main character Breedlove is not your stereotypical killer, but the protagonists need to be updated. I do not like that the crime solving turned into telepathy because that is not how it works in real life. There are hunches, but there is a lot of evidence gathering and witness interviews. The grammatical errors and the detailed descriptions of what the characters ate reveal the need for better editing.

Great review. I'm still on the fence about reading this book. I think you addressed a lot of the thoughts and concerns I had after reading the free sample.

Initially, the plot of this book had me intrigued, a serial killer who copies the works of other serial killers. Unfortunately, I really dislike when characters are able to correctly guess things and it seems unrealistic. So I don't know if I'm up for reading this book. But great job on the review!

GREAT REVIEW! Serial Killers have some of the best stories. That's why I love Criminal Minds. May have to check this out myself.

Meals and sex, details not needed in a story. They are primary functions that do not usually add to the storyline or plot and can actually lose the reader's interest. I was interested in the book until I read your review; there are too many structural mistakes made. Intensive review.

I haven't read any books about serial killers, and I wouldn't have a problem with reading one after reading your review. But I would have a problem with the fact that Lea is never wrong in her profiling of Breedlove because I love books that are a bit realistic. And the whole describing of meals is fine as long as its not over the top. But all in all I would give it a try. Thank you for the review

The book seems to be inconsistent and casual art work by the author due to a number of mismatches; like childish mixing a unsuccessful love story with criminal mind, negative characterization of investigators and then falsely showing them capable of using telepathy.......

I'm not sure this book is for me. The gruesome scenes are just a bit too much! Still, it sounds like a well-written novel. Thanks for the review.
