Best music for reading?

I like to listen to something calm and soothing. Country for the most part works for me. Not the new stuff but the older stuff like Willie Nelson for example.

I would say anything classical or any music without any vocals. There are youtube videos with music playlists for focusing, studying, etc. You just have to type it into the search bar.

Instrumental. Anything with words will distract me from the book. The type of instrumental will depend on the book. I usually go with classical though

I, with no reserve whatsoever, suggest Yiruma's complete selection, most specifically his most well-known pieces: "The River Flows in Me," "Maybe," and "Kiss the Rain." I came across his music randomly through a studying playlist and haven't turned back since. His contemporary piano pieces are blissful and refreshing, perfect for almost all genres of books.

If I listen to anything at all I listen to this instead. Volume very low. Goes especially well with gothic murder mysteries and horror stories.

I like Kenny G's The Moment and Forever in Love saxophone music as well as Yiruma's River Flows in You piano music. They're my perfect music background while reading.

Well, for me. It depends on my mood. I actually listens to all kinds of music ranging from love song to metal so it depends on my mood on what music i listen to when i'm reading or studying. It actually helps me understand what i'm readibg more faster.
