Thanks for your review. I'm not enthusiastic of superheroes and superpowers. So I'll pass on this book. But reading the review pros and cons, anyone who loved superheroes should give this book a chance because it sounds amazing and well-written.

Superheroes in Winchester? Interesting. It is great that the author worked the cultural references into the plot in a unique way, and that the emphasis is on the mystery and not on the superpowers. Not for me, but I am glad you enjoyed the book despite its minor drawbacks. Thank you for the review.

A villain who is stealing cultural artifacts in Winchester? And an anteater? What a storyline! It's great to hear that this is more than a Marvel movie/comic book and that the ending was satisfying. I don't know much about Winchester either; I think this, Rob accepting his powers so quickly, and me not being a superhero story fan, this book isn't for me. But, I'm glad you enjoyed this one despite its minor drawbacks!

Culture man sounds like a delightful read. I like that the book is not just about superheroes, villains and superpowers. The cultural bit about Winchester is entertaining and informative too.
