I don't think that I would find this book enjoyable, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for commenting on the ending. It is so rare that I have read a book and been satisfied with the ending of it, this part of your review made me really happy. Thanks for the great review!

Perhaps superheroes have their humane natural side, which mesns maybe once in a while each of us can be a superhero even if we have been through a heartbreak or a challenging season. It is always eyeopeningto read about a different culture. Interesting review

Thank you for the thorough review! I am not a fan of superhero stories, but I am very intrigued by the way the author wove the cultural references into the story so seamlessly. I just might give this book a chance one day!

The title of this book, even the cover, is not something that would draw me in and cause me to pick up the book. That being said, between the review and the short sample I read I am already hooked and can't wait to start reading! If only my list of books was getting shorter rather than longer! Perhaps I can eat a sandwich with experimental goop on it and gain the super power of very fast reading attended by retention and the same enjoyment of slower reading :)

The book was interesting because the narrative is more than I anticipated. What fascinated me about the storyline is the stealing of an Anteater. Ensure you peruse to reveal the way.

This sound interesting. I've never been to England so this would be a good way to learn about the culture while immersing myself in superheroes and supervillains. Thank you for your review!

Sounds like an interesting concept! I like how even though it seems "superhero-ish," it is more focused on the mystery of the antagonist and how the main character solves it.

Thanks for the review. This sounds like a fun and interesting book. I guess, if you're going to write a book about superheroes, the main characters will have to accept them - but a bit of surprise would be good too!

I sure love books about a character unexpectedly receiving superpowers. Rob has been blogging about a cultural activity every week, the artifacts featured in said blog are being stolen by the Velvet Vandal, you know how it goes. A tale of action, suspense, and romance in one book

Lovely detailed review. Going by the review, the cover does not inspire someone to pick it up. He needs to redesign the cover of the book

Ha-ha! What a great, and very thorough, review! Neither the title nor cover captured my attention, but the synopsis [on Amazon] made it sound good and you solidified that. Good point about the quick acceptance of his superpowers; I know if I suddenly got powers, I'd be absolutely beside myself with enjoyment and excitement and etc!
