Wonderful review kandscreely..... I admire the writers talent of merging the stories of the adjacent books in the series. Your review brings out the best of this book.

Great review! This series sounds like a unique twist on the Santa Claus folktale. Usually grammatical errors will keep me away from a book, but this series might just be interesting enough to make an exception!

Thanks livre! The good thing about these errors (other than Los Vegas) is that they are almost all homophone errors. Other than, they are pretty much grammatically correct.

I actually prefer character driven books, personalities have strange nuances which make character driven books interesting.

Thanks Kelebogile! I love finding out where these characters came from. Also, the way he combines characters from myth/fantasy (Like Santa Clause and Merlin) with his own characters. It's so interesting!

So far, I have enjoyed everything that Jordan David has written. As always, this is a lovely time of year for me. There is nothing like a twist on Christmas and a cup of hot chocolate.

Surprisingly, I met Jordan David at my local Wholefoods store. I asked him about the errors in his novels. He is working on getting the errors corrected. The whole series is being updated. He seemed to be a nice man. If anyone would like an updated version, I am sure it could be arranged. Apparently, he pays attention to his readers comments.

Another great review! You always really sell the books in this series. It makes me want to give it another go; I just couldn't get past all of the errors during my first attempt. It sounds like these books might be worth the effort.
