How interesting that the author makes superpowers sound somehow believable. I know England well though not Winchester - but I know the kind of place.

I was a bit carried away due to the stimulant that led him to have a sudden power. This story was narrated in scientific way in which better understanding is needed to interpret how he got the sudden power. Although the writer is sound and rating him 4.5 out of 5.

I’m not really into books about superpowers and villains. However, this sounds like a great read for those who do enjoy it.

Culture Man by Guy Cook is a superhero mystery novel set in Winchester, England whereby a normal hero turns into a hero with super powers. This action packed book has a 4 out of 4 stars rating.

I like the idea of a combination of a superhero story and a mystery. I don't know if I would like the unrealistic part about his reaction to his new superpowers though. Thanks for the review.

I was a bit skeptical about the superhuman aspect in the story-line but after reading this review, I am willing to give the book a try. I am also not into the cultural references from a country that I have not visited yet, but from the review it seems the author managed to incorporate this aspect really well into the story. Thank you for the great review.

Hmmm...superheroes, supervillains, superpowers...sounds like an exciting combination. Would be fun also to learn about all the cultural landmarks in Westchester. Thanks for an informative review!

You had me at boy bitten by a spider. Let alone powers. Something as mundane as a weird haircut could not be easily accepted. I wonder what the author was trying to achieve by that.

This book sounds very interesting. I would like to know how Rob ended behaving with his new powers he gained from his girlfriend's house. Thanks this review.

An interesting book. The powers available to man are immense. We only need to know how to harness them.

I love novels that are set in cities that the author is obviously familiar with, and mentions frequently in the book. I read a novel like this once and ended up in Nashville for a week; it was fun to follow the path of the book. Thanks for your review.
