I read just about everything I can get my hands on and when I go to a book store it feels like heaven to me. I have to watch what I spend while in the book store or I will be broke by the time I have to pay my bills. LOL
I am planning to go back to school to get my degree and I was told to prepare by reading a much as I can to improve my vocabulary and comprehension by Sept. There is no better way to learn new words by reading books that can provide an education but books that will benefit me like history, Science and more.

that does sound nice, where do you work if you don't mind me asking.clarebear wrote:I usually try to read a book a week, but it all depends upon how busy I am at work. I work shifts, so on night shift if its quiet I can get lots of lovely reading done. Everybody thinks i'm weird for loving night shift, but I love the quiteness of night and cups of endless coffee with plenty to read.
i work at a stationery store for that exact reason. it's laid back and i get to read when it's slow =)
i work at a liquor store for other reasons =x

I work in a Quality Control laboratory that is attatched to a chemical process plant, I do the 'in-process' testing, and the work has to be done as it comes in. So if no work comes in theres not much to do. When its quiet its awesome, when its busy its hell!!knightss wrote:that does sound nice, where do you work if you don't mind me asking.clarebear wrote:I usually try to read a book a week, but it all depends upon how busy I am at work.
