This sounds like a very interesting read. It's a shame about the editing errors and sidelining of women. All too often these stories place men in a power role and women as damsels or the ones that make risky decisions which unravel the plot further.

A plot centered around destroying cocaine sounds like it would make an interesting suspense thriller. Thanks for the review.

The Cocaspore Project is original in concept, fast in execution and great way to spend a rainy weekend at home.

Actually Robin Cook came to my mind while reading your review as well. I adore his medical thrillers! Great review!

A Robin Cook-esque thriller. Timely & plausible...looks like a relevant thriller. Wonder if some day this idea will be employed to eliminate the cocaine trade? Wouldn't that be great?? Will take a look...thanks for the review!

The cocaspore is very amazing and plausible, a scientist finding a way to eradicate cocaine. useful for so many NGOs and Wings in the fight against drugs. if the use is properly monitored, we will have a better world to live. congrats botd

This looks like a very interesting read! I'm not too particularly interested in thrillers, but the plot of this seems good. Nice review.

Seems like a really interesting premise, but it is a real shame that the female characters are just window dressing. I really dislike the woman only as victim story line.

The review is very nicely done. I've read the free sample and it intrigued me. Having read the review , I'm really looking forward to getting this book in my hands. The absence of the strong female characters isn't anything new in this genre. A medicine thriller is always interesting by itself. Thank you for making me sure it's a right book for me!

This sounds like it could be a good book to read. Grammar can be distracting but won't stop me from reading a book.

The plot of this book sounds intriguing. The idea of getting rid of the plant that makes cocaine is definitely something I've never heard of before. I liked that you mention that almost everything in this book seems plausible. I also agree about the female characters. Great review!

This sounds like a neat action story and the characters kind of like a throwback to the good old days. Interesting story line.

This story lamentably shows how it is so hard for people to go against the narco-trade. These people dealing on drugs and the concomitant crimes associated with it has amassed great resources to perpetuate their business. I am convinced, the science behind the coca-eating fungus or spores is plausible, amidst the strides that technology has taken in the field of genetic engineering. Nice review you have, and thanks.

I'm normally not into thrillers related to drugs, especially since many of the characters turn out stereotypical, but this storyline sounds very compelling. It's a shame about the female characters but I'll still put this on my "to read" list. Thank you for the thorough and honest review.
