Problems with internet anyone?

Post by Bighuey »

Im curious, is anyone else having trouble with their internet? Almost everyone I know here and in the states is having problems staying connected, or not being able to connect at all, some things not working, very slow response and just generally screwed up. I wonder if its world wide or in just some areas. Any comments, anybody?

Sometimes it switches off for no reason and you just have to wait for it randomly to turn back on.. It's a pain.

Glad you brought this question up. Yes, out here in Wisconsin we all have been experiencing a great deal with internet trouble, slowing down, glitching, freezing up etc.......not to mention paying big $$$ for horrible Internet quality! PLUS, our cell phones are also acting up, static galore....I have heard something in regards to tower problems...technology is going down hill. I even read on line the other day that they are running out of cell phone numbers in our state.....What would that mean~~going back to party line numbers? Unfortunately, I do not for see this getting any better. :(

Yes, Ive had the same problem. At first I thought it was my computer but other people here and most of my contacts in the states have had the same problem. My internet service dosent even seem to know what is going on. I heard it could have something to do with solar flares. whatever it is, its a pain in the butt. My desktop dosent hardly work at all, my laptop works better but it is not right. Thank you for the feedback.

This website crashes on me once in a while, not often. Another website I go to does the same thing.

My internet seems to be doing a lot of the same things others are talking about. The cutting off or slow connecting.

Sounds like the makings of a good Scify channel movie if you ask me.

It sounds like the problem is pretty much everywhere. Its been like this for about the last month. Maybe something big is getting ready to come down.

I wonder if it is because the system is overloaded? You think about all the stuff thats on there, and they are always adding new stuff and maybe the system cant handle it.

It seems there has been concern about it in the past. Maybe they could be right.

Damn this is strange. I just can't seem to find more recent articles about the subject. It just died out..

I wonder if solar flares could have anything to do with? I know they affect radio transmissions.

From what I've read so far, it seems to be a structural problem. Not an expert though..
