An interesting and thorough review about a collection of stories involving assassination, occultism, and investigations. The book sounds fascinating.

I really like books that have impact on the society. But, unfortunately I'm reading some assassinations that depicts violence. This is what puts me off. Abraham Lopez's book may not be for me.

This is a story about the demise of a certain society. What if the only person who unifies the country is assassinated? There is a chaos of epic proportions. Thank you for your interesting review.

I am enjoying the anthology style of this story. It is interesting to me how the stories are all distinct yet contribute to the big-picture whole. At first I had a hard time following because I was trying to connect everything and was dismayed at the number of characters I was being asked to follow. Eventually, however I was able to enjoy each chapter as its own short story inside the larger story arc.

Thank you for your review! This sounds like a creative format. It seems a little strange to call it an “anthology” though.

I definitely want to give this book a try. I am also likely to be one of those people that goes crazy from not seeing the development of a character. I also like the development of environment.

From the sample I read, it seems like a story that is a mix of Jason Bourne action with an Oceans Eleven caper. If it can tell a story as well as those two, it will do just fine!

Not a book I would go out of my way to read, but it seems like it could be pretty interesting.

Congrats on the review. Sorry to hear about all those errors. I am glad to hear that it's a unique dystopian story.

The storyline got me snagged. I definitely have to get this book. I also love anthologies because they make for a quick, packed read.

The killing of one person destroyed the fragile peace that were in the world as portrayed in the book. It sounds like a real serious book. I like that the reviewer says that the short stories that showed the experiences of different people as the world they knew disappear are a unique way of writing. I don't know if I read it though it is too close to the truth.
