I sometimes find it hard to concentrate when battle scenes seem to go on and on. I appreciate that you acknowledged this, but gave me hope that it would get better! Thanks for a thorough review.

You’ve convinced me to give this book a go! As a lifelong fan of dragons (I loved the Eragon series when I was a kid) and Tarzan, I think a story about an extraordinary child being raised by dragons seems like just my cup of tea! Though I’m not big on long battle scenes, it sounds like the story line will be enough to pull me in.

Thanks for the review.
Although I like these kind of books, the endless dragon fight description you brought up will make it a no no for me.
I think I will wait and hope Hollywood does indeed come out with the movie soon :)

Not sure I'd be into a fantasy of this type. What I did like the sound of was how it becomes difficult to tell who is "bad" and who is "good" - that sort of nuance sounds intriguing.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

I usually like dragon tales, but didn't really get very hooked on the sample. Maybe diving deeper would reveal more of the epicness of the story as you say in the review. Hmm.

Once again I feel the rating 4 out of 4 is inappropriate because the reviewer mentioned an error in the text, therefore by the reviews standard 4 out of 4 is not the correct rating. I found the samples flow to be difficult to follow but the summary the review gives sounds like an interesting book,

It would be interesting to find out Kaida's powers, why she is returned to the Urthe people and whether she is the promised child. Thanks for the great review.

The world can always use another epic fantasy filled with dragons. If this is done right, as the reviewer alludes, I expect this to be an action-packed book ripe with adventure for those that love the genre.

Thanks for your review! I love content about dragons, especially books. It would be interesting to read how the clan dynamics are fleshed out.

Nice review. This book sounds perfect for fans of adventure fantasy books with its dragons, and epic battles, a child raised with dragon hatchlings who develops untold powers. Very exciting. I’ll be checking this one out. Thanks so much for sharing.

A mysterious child that has uncommon powers even for dragons and is supposed to bring peace is a storyline I've heard before. However, it has dragons. I adore reading about dragons, so I'll give this one a try. Thanks for your honest review!
