I’m not a huge fan of thrillers, and Kyle doesn’t seem like a character I’d care for much, not to mention I feel like I’ve read him before. I think I’ll pass on this one. But I’m glad you enjoyed the book so much!

The whole scene with the knife in the first chapter is pretty cool. Totally solidified his superiority as the main character.

I am also hooked, enjoying the book and agree with your comments about Kyle being relatable (and potentially Ryan Reynolds starring!). This is a great concept for a good action thriller. I also appreciated there being two women on the Royce Foundation board, and the fact that Kyle (so far, at least) seems to have more of a Millenial understanding and treatment of women than the old school action heroes. I’m hoping this is true throughout and will certainly find out as I’m keen to read the whole book.

Review of Do a Little Wrong by Don Dahler

LOVE how this book begins! Having a passion for the pursuit of cooking breeds a love of all things kitchen! And a story of doing right by doing wrong is always inspiring. This story as the feel of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen where all the team members have their own journey, reasons, and skills for doing what they do.
I like how the players in the story are introduced backwards...you meet them, then learn about why the do what they do, which makes you go through the emotional arc of are they a good guy or a bad guy but in the end you like them anyway.
This is a great traveling book, it starts off with action and draws you in. The story moves along well and before you know it, you have read 10-15 pages.

This really isn’t my usual genre, but the sample along with this review have me intrigued. The main character living a double life and fighting for a worthy cause makes me think of a superhero, but he is able to accomplish things without the aid of special powers. I think it’s worth a read.
