Yes! I love the series and was so excited for the movie, but it wasn't the book at all. While they left out some of the darker aspects, the casting felt all wrong and Grandma didn't get enough screen time. Too bad that movie bombed, there was so much more material to work with from the series if it had done well.TaffHarrod wrote: ↑28 Feb 2018, 06:43 One for the Money, which was the first one in the Stephanie Plum series. People talk about how Cruise was wrong for Reacher but nothing compared to Heigl as Plum. The entire movie was just a major disappointment.

Omg, that is too funny! I was driven nuts by Tom Cruise being cast as Jack Reacher. I was thinking more like Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have not seen or read One for the Money but I've heard really good things about the Plum series and not one thing about the movie. I think that says a lot.TaffHarrod wrote: ↑28 Feb 2018, 06:43 One for the Money, which was the first one in the Stephanie Plum series. I was disappointed by the Jack Reacher casting. Tom Cruise did his best but it wasn't good enough for the character's justification.kfwilson6 wrote: ↑12 Mar 2018, 15:27Omg, that is too funny! Another one would be Love, Rosie. The book actually defined me and my bestfriend's life. It ignited our passion for reading. It made us fall inlove with life, with love and with books. Then here comes the movie and everything we knew from the book was distorted. I felt terrible.
