This sounds like an interesting book. When I was a little girl, my family used to visit a friend who lived on the Pacific coast, and I've had a fascination with the sea ever since. Thanks for a great review!

I enjoy fishing but my husband and oldest son love it. Some days all they talk about is fishing, sharks, fish, etc. Therefore, I'll recommend this book to my husband. Even though he is not a big reader, I think he will enjoy this one. Thanks for such an insightful review.

A nonfiction book that reads like an adventure story and revolves around the life of the author sounds promising. His interest in fishing started at a very early age. That the author didn't sugarcoat any of his experiences is to its credit. Not my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed the book. I like books that turn out to be more than one expected them to. Great job on the review!

I had some doubts about this one as I am wary of nonfiction and not generally a fan if fishing. However, after reading your review I can't wait to dive in. I certainly would not have expected the adventure of a coup in Liberia. Thank you for your thorough review.

I love reading about the personal experiences and adventures of others because there's always something to be learned. Although I, myself, do not fish (nor do I venture out to sea regularly), this book sounds like it's filled with adventure, which will keep readers turning pages! Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I'm looking forward to reading about what life was like for Jack Walsh! :-)

A nonfiction book but like an adventure story. I wont think twice and I'll give this a shot right away. Thanks for the review.

I appreciate your very descriptive review. While this is not a book I would normally gravitate to, your review makes it seem to be more of an adventure, which is something I would like. And something I most certainly would consider for the fishermen in my life. Thanks!
