great review! so glad to hear about the absence of a cliffhanger as it can frustrates me the most. i'm currently reading this and so far, so good. i dread reaching the middle though.

I was already turned off by the Ph.D. being included because it makes the book feel like it will be pretentious. I was totally out when I saw sci-fi erotic novel. Happy reading for those who choose to read this though, I am not judging, just not my type of book.

I'd say this review is well written. I was for reading this book ASAP because I love sci-fi and because of the amazing storyline as explained by the reviewer at the beginning of the review. However, the part about the story losing its sense of self in the middle put me off a lot. I don't think I wanna read a book where the author loses me in the middle.

This book sounds like a very interesting read. Although, the middle part is making me a little wary, I might still try it out. Your review is very well written and has a very good description of the book. Thank you for your review.

The book starts well with the mission to save the Naturals from extinction and the Syndos from perdition. It ends just fine, too. But the middle bulk of the book is, for me, one sorry mess. It seemed to be a showcase of the author's knowledge of a host of topics, especially erotica, which didn't further the plot any.

I didn't know that this book included that much of sexual content that you would recommend it to fans of erotic fiction. I don't think this is my cup of tea considering I don't like time travel or erotic. But I've heard a lot of good things about this book so I'm sure others will like it as you did. :) great review!

I like sci-fi, but erotica isn't really my thing, so I don't think this is a book for me. Thanks for the thoughtful review, though! :)

Even from the review, I sense the plot floundered midstream. Thank God it ended smoothly with no cliffhanger. I'll read the book though. Thanks for the explanatory review.

I actually love science fiction and erotic fiction but after reading the summary of the book in your review I don't think I'll be interested in the flow of story. Thank you for your good review.

I'm disappointed the story doesn't continue on with the trans-time team because it is what caught my attention. I read the sample and thought it was a good start. I'm love sci-fi and erotic novels, but I don't think this will be for me considering your comment on the direction of the plot. Thank you for your insight!

The book looks awesome at the beginning when it introduces Jennifer but somehow I got mixed up in the middle. Spot on review.

Thanks for the interesting review. Normally, I don't like time travel novels, but this book managed to pique my interest pretty quickly. I enjoy reading erotic books as well, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the author has worked this combination with this story.

Great review! This is not my usual genre but I think I'll make an exception with this one! Sounds pretty interesting! Definitely a book I would read to escape a rough day!

Interesting spin to to combine erotic with sci-fi. I couldn’t get into the sample enough but then again I don’t often like sci-fi. I think I would have liked more insight into the characters earlier on. Thanks for the review.

I like your review and I remember this book from previous discussions. I like that there is a smart and strong female main character who has many issues to deal with. I can understand why Jennifer would want to hid away in the 21st century after experiencing the untimely death of her true love. I also like that the main character is heavily invested into science.
