Happiness is really a choice. Unfavourable conditions shouldn't be a hindrance to happiness. I've enjoyed your review. Well done!

I admire the author's passion and determination to give hope to others suffering from the same affliction. However, this just wouldn't interest me as I do not suffer from Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel Disorder. Good review. Thank you.

Interesting subject matter. I’m sure this affects a lot of women who are too embarrassed to talk about it. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for your review! I appreciate that the author is shedding light on an issue that affects many women. This will give women with the condition the confidence to speak up.

I think the advice in this book could help a lot of women in my life. It sucks that health issues that are common are treated with a shameful stigma. I'm glad that people are speaking out more about health in general.

When you're tired, rest and don't overuse your strength when you're young. This is a great advice I picked from this review. And I'm glad the author wrote down her experience of this particular health challenge. I'll definitely read. Thanks for this great review.

This is a very helpful book. I commend the author for her strength in admitting her ailment, sharing her knowledge and motivating other people with the same condition to keep living. Thanks for the detailed review.

I'm not sure if this is one for me, but I respect the author for having the courage to share her experiences. I think a book like this could help a lot of people in similar situations. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your review. This sounds like a good book about an embarrassing condition. I am interested in reading it as she shares her story and what helped her through depression, etc.

I won't be reading this as it's not really my cup of tea. I'm sure there is good info in it but it's just not for me right now.

Great review there. This book is totally informational, academical and inspirational. I learnt a lot from the review, definitely I will learn more from the book. I look forward to reading the whole book. Having these common conditions - Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel Disorder - didn’t bring JoAnne Lake - the author of Beyond Embarrassment - down. She is a body of inspiration. These book will definitely help a lot of people. It gives information on how to care for people with such conditions. A book that makes someone conscious about one's health....... that's great because people neglect their health a lot in the name of hustling and struggling. It's perfect and great for both men and women but especially women. I love books with quotes also. Knowledge nuggets................. hnmmmmm interesting.

Sometimes sharing personal embarrassing health issues with others helps them to come to terms with their own and move towards overcoming it.

My heart goes out to JoAnne and others like her. I cannot fathom what she goes through on a day-by-day basis, even with her descriptions in the book. Not because they aren't well written, but because enduring issues such as these can rob a person of their self-worth. Good luck, JoAnne. I look forward to reading your story.
