I got this one because I write crime stories and need to know how they fit together.

I don't really want a slacky opening but might overpass it to get to the thrill later. I like crime and mystery books and shall give What Happened to Flynn a go. Thanks for the discount and congrats on being BOTD!

I really like crime and mystery novels. I might check this out, since it seems like it´s really well written with interesting characters. Shane seems like a really cool character. Great review!

Detective stories always excite me. Shanisha looks like an interesting detective to follow, especially now that my favorite lady sleuth Kinsey Millhone has retired. Will Flynn turn up dead or alive? Only one way to find out.

Thanks for the enticing review, ReviewerDiksha!

‪I honestly don't feel any attraction with its cover. (Sorry! I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.) But reading some reviews and the synopsis. This feels like an amazing read.‬

A classic "Who Done It". The beginning was slow but I can tell there is a good story underneath it. As a personal preference though, having the narrative told in first person is not my favorite. It is harder for me to connect with more then one character that way.

I'm looking forward to reading this book, I love a mystery that brings you on twists and turns. There is always more going on than it seems and its so entertaining not knowing where you will go and what answers you will find.

What happened to flynn is so tremendous that it can take someone to a roller-coaster ride that takes us to an entirely unexpected climax

Amazing review. I will be looking at how the female detective applies her tactics into finding what really happened to Flynn. Thanks.

Thanks for the honest review. Perhaps I can relate to Shane, idealist and all, so I’ll add this to my list to be read soon.

This sounds like a compelling and character-driven whodunnit where the detective's path towards finding the culprit doesn't run smooth. It's interesting too that this features a black female detective.

From the review of the story, I wonder what motivated those criminals to murder their collegue human being.

Its not too often that I read a mystery novel. So this isnt my favourite genre. Your review made it sound read-worthy

I like a thriller that strays from the formulaic pathway. Thank you for describing a book that I look forward to reading.
