This is a good way for children to learn the parts of speech without getting bored with the conventional teaching style. Thank you for your review!

Great job on review here that's for sure! Even though book is way out off my age group, therefore I personally definitely wouldn't read it, I certainly will buy it as a gift or recommend my friends whom are parents.

I love that this book offers such educational value. Combined with the fun characters and beautiful illustrations, it seems to be a desirable addition to any family's library or teacher's classroom. I'd like to get a copy for my niece and my friends of that age group. Thanks for a great review!

This sounds absolutely adorable. I love seeing educational books that tell a story. When I was a kid, those were the kinds of books I learned from, and I believe teaching through example (like Priscilla does with sharing words) is key.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I love when educational books are also cute and fun. Its nice that parents can add little lessons into their children's routine, to teach them things before they enter school or add to their lessons.

This book is wonderful and the fact that it breaks down the words into nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives is even better. From an educator's perspective, I think that using the different words that Priscilla has collected in a Word Wall would be a great way to teach the meanings. Thanks for sharing your review!

I think the idea of a nice ostrich called Priscilla who is too shy to share the words she collects is both refreshing and appealing to young children. I've quickly read it and I have to admit I loved the way things turned out in the end for lovely Priscilla. I agree with you with respect to the educational and entertaining value of the book. Thanks!

This book seems to be an excellent resource, for teachers and parents educate children. I like it not only focuses on teaching words of speech and vocabulary but also about such an important topic for kids at that tender age, friendship. Definitely clever detail illustrations give it a plus. Great review!

This sounds like a very nice and educational book to learn various parts of speech. I also like the fact that the words presented in the book are joined thematically which will help children make some assosiations while learning and then using the vocabulary. Besides the cover and the pictures inside are really cute.

Hnmmmmm, the book - The Word Collecter by Evelyn Dunbar Webb - is indeed good for little kids. It will help them academically and inspire them to collect and share words. Books with illustrations are best for kids. I too love books with illustrations. All characters in the book been birds is good too. It gives a unique sense and it can be useful in the sense that children can recognize type of birds. It been drawn in a cartoon style will attract children as well. Adults can also learn new word also, e. g. leprechaun. Great review and thanks.
