This is an interesting piece of crime action novel that has an excellent ploto that will keep you from taking any break. I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars and would recommend that readers first read the onlinebookclub review to get a better sense of the book.

The nautical action and jargon mentioned by the reviewer sounds like it might appeal to those who enjoy military action novels. While that can be interesting, it isn't really my favorite choice of novel.

I'm into ship cruise and sea-based settings. I'll read the whole book if the first ten pages could hook me up.

In my own opinion, the errors you mentioned can be overlooked.

Books in series usually end with cliffhangers.

I have always steered clear of series, especially those that are not stand-alone. But it is nice that a tough woman leads this novel. This book seems to be action-filled mixed with mystery and suspense. Congrats!

It sounds like a good book. I don't have much nautical knowledge so I'm glad it doesn't dominate the story. I'm interested in both Danielle and Boris. The review describes them both as being characters I would enjoy reading about.

It’s great to see an author tastefully handle subjects like that. I really like nautical themed adventures but haven’t really read any modern ones. I think I might like this one. I do feel your frustration with editing. I keep seeing the same thing where if they had just taken more time to polish it, I could have given it a perfect score.

I really like how detailed you were when explaining the book. Now for me, unfortunately, I’ve read the book and it seemed kind of cliche. But if I haven’t read it before, this interview may have changed my perspective. I think it was just the way the book was written and how so much was happening at once, but your review looked great!

I love action stories so would love to give this book a go! Your review is intriguing. You don't give anything away which makes me want to read the book for myself to find out how it all comes together with the several serious topics you mentioned.

This is a good review, it gives a glimpse of what to expect about the book. However, I still cannot get the urge to really read the book. I tried skimming through but so far, nothing catches my eyes. Perhaps because it is not my genre but maybe, I would give it one more try tomorrow.

Nice review. This sounds like a great read for fans of action thrillers with a strong female lead and a bonus to fans of nautical based fiction. Thanks so much for sharing.

Reading the amazon description I wasn't sure this was a book I would want to read, but I really like your review. I know what you mean about the nautical terms because I've read a lot of books about being at sea, but it's reassuring that they didn't overwhelm the novel. Looking forward to reading this!

Very thorough well written review! Though I am not a fan nautical writing, I enjoy action thrillers and I am planning to read this!
